Available tools

The Instantly MCP server exposes the full Instantly V2 API as MCP tools. Every API endpoint is available as a tool your AI assistant can call.

Tools are auto-generated from the same API spec that powers the API reference. Browse the API reference for detailed request parameters and response schemas.

Tool categories

Tools are grouped into the same categories as the API endpoints. The most commonly used categories include:

Accounts	Manage email accounts, warmup settings, pause, resume, and test vitals
Campaigns	Create, list, activate, pause, duplicate, and bulk manage campaigns
Subsequences	Create, update, pause, resume, and duplicate campaign subsequences
Leads	Manage leads, lead lists, and labels. Bulk add, move, and merge leads
Email	List, reply, forward, and verify emails. Track unread counts
Analytics	Campaign performance, daily breakdowns, inbox placement, and warmup metrics
Webhooks	Create and manage webhooks and webhook events
Enrichment	AI enrichment, email verification, and contact data enrichment
Workspace	Manage workspace settings, members, groups, and billing
Custom tags	Create, update, and manage custom tags and tag mappings
Blocklist	Manage blocklist entries
OAuth	Connect and manage OAuth integrations
API keys	Create, list, and manage API keys
Background jobs	Track async operations like bulk imports

How tools map to the API

Each MCP tool corresponds to a single API endpoint. Tool names follow the pattern {action}_{resource} — for example, list_campaigns, create_lead, or get_campaign_analytics. Your AI assistant discovers the available tools automatically when it connects to the MCP server. You can ask it to list the tools or describe what you want to accomplish and it will find the right tool.
